One of Those Weeks

I'm in a rut. Last weeks 'to do' list never got done. I slacked, procrastinated, put off and detoured just about all I was going to do. This week isn't going any better. I am tired of the same ol' repetitive chores. You know, the ones that no matter how well you finish them they keep coming back. Laundry, dishes, picking up baby toys.

The past two days I have done dishes twice, rotated laundry twice. (It's all on my couch now I've spent the rest of the time in front of the computer playing pointless games, blog stalking, and wondering aimlessly in cyberspace. I would like to put the blame on my children. How no one can have a clean house or anything nice when you have small kids in the home. But the truth is..I'm just really LAZY!!!

Friday Confessional

It's that time to dig deep inside your soul and confess to the world or your followers the things that need to be said. Here I go:

  • I sincerely pray that the trees in my neighbors property across the street will come down .....safely. Wind, chainsaw, pocket knife...however. I need a miracle here.

  • When I say sincerely I mean I am on my knees talking to Heavenly Father about it.

  • Anyone out there with a chainsaw and ski mask I will send you directions.

  • I really would like the view of the lake. (view adds $40,000 worth of equity on our home)

  • The lake in actuality is more like a big pond.

  • The lake to which we have no access to because we don't pay our community dues.

  • To get an access card, we would have to pay our balance which is 187.00 as of this month.

  • It's hard to pay for something that you never use.

  • Like the boat docks.....we have no boat

  • And the crappy playground....we have our own crappy playground

  • The swimming docks.....too many little kids to swim and we live in Northwest..too cold to swim except for the one hot week in July.

  • The one thing we would use is the basketball hoop...but right now Wednesday nights after scouts and mutual is sufficient for the kid to get a few shots in.

  • I think we will START to pay the bill this summer

  • Not all at once of course..who has 187$ lying around...not me.

  • Guess I should of just paid the 17$ a month when it was a small payment hehe.

Now it's your turn. Link up with Glam and confess.

Friday Confessional

Hosted By:

I confess:
  • I don't have a best friend.
  • I'm done with best friends.
  • I have had "besties" in the past.
  • But I will never have one again.
  • I think their is something wrong with me.
  • My 9 year old son would call it Karma
  • That's his favorite word these days
  • He says it like 12 times a day
  • And it actually works out that he says it at the appropriate times too.
  • Anyways, back to the besties...
  • Back in middle school I changed best friends from a great girl to a different girl.
  • I guess I was just at the age of seeing where I best fit in.
  • It came with a cost
  • A year later the new best friend just stopped talking to me out of the blue one day
  • Had another real good friend..then stopped hanging out for a different crowd..
  • KARMA
  • After another year, new crowd best friend stopped talking to me one day.
  • I never did find out what I did wrong. Must be my sparkling personality
  • I had a really good BFF for awhile...nothing bad happened just both went different ways at different times of our lives.
  • Many moons went by and I didn't bother too much with a good friend..I had a good Boyfriend aka Husband.
  • Eventually got a new BFF and it ended up being the weirdest one yet.
  • Found out some stuff about her...made me sad:( couldn't trust her
  • Then I moved...which saved me from a confrontation that didn't have to happen but could've if I had to explain why I was acting differently around her. Though I was trying not too.
  • Then a little bit later I got a new best friend...and now it's weird and basically non existent.
  • Then another one came and moved away in a blink of an eye. (Luckily we are still good friends)
  • So I'm done with best friends.
  • No more talking to someone every day, laughing about stupid stuff...Done!
  • No more random "Hey, let's go do .....this or that..."
  • I am only going to have Dear Friends. (You know who you are)
  • No more BFF's
  • Time to grow up!
  • But sitting here typing this I realize...I've had A LOT of fun times. And even if there is something wrong with me...and I suck at being a good friend...or someone else sucks at being my best friend ..hehe...I hope I gave them good laughs or good advice when they needed it.
  • I mean, in order for all the people out there to be blessed by my awesomeness I guess I'm gonna have to go through a lot of best friends. There is only so much of me to go around. ;)

This post seemed to go on forever and ever. I guess I needed to blab...sorry!

Happy Friday!!

Just A Quick Update

Happy Birthday to You Aquinna!

I can't believe my baby girl is 5!?! Where did the time go? It seems I was just moving into this house being quite pregnant with her. She is defiantly the baby girl too. She seems to get away with everything and her punishments are nothing compared to the other kids. And she always gets what she wants eventually. Completely my fault. (Ok, not just my fault..her dad has admitted that he can't say "no" to her either.)

Ben E is still being stinkin funny and cute. He knows it too and that's not a good thing. I think we are going to have another spoiled "Quinna" except the boy version. What's a mom to do?

Sammy Sha is growin up way too fast. She is not only the little prissy lady of the house who has to choose her own clothes and hairstyles. (Which I don't let her all the time...we take turns..and I still say no if I don't like her pick) She is also the tallest in her grade. Not just her class, her whole KINDERGARTEN grade. This is a picture of the Mother Goose Gala that they just had at their school last week. See my beautiful Sammy girl on the stage towering over the other kids in her cute yellow dress and pink bonnet. (She was a Jill in Jack and Jill.)

Garrett...hmmm...what can I update about Garrett. He is going to NINE on Sunday. 9!!! I can't believe I have been a Mom for nine years. He is SSF! (So Stinkin' Funny) Such a boy who thinks boogers, farts and other bodily grossness is funny! He is ready to join a sports team. He used to not want to play sports because there were "other kids" there. Now he is ok with that. He is also eating steak now. Such a Man! Oh the days when the only meats he would eat were Chicken Nuggets or Hot Dogs. No, not anymore. Now my grocery bill just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I can't imagine what I will be spending on food when i have a teenage boy and 2 teenage girls and another growing boy? I think I better start looking for more kids to babysit so I can work on my food storage.

Friday Confessional

It's that time again. Link up and play along with Glamazon.

I confess:
  • "Hate" and "Laundry" were my two most used words on Facebook
  • It's probably my most used on my blog too
  • I'm obsessed with NOT getting my laundry done.
  • Not because I love not having it done
  • But because it's all I ever think about having to do and not doing it.
  • I'm sure you are all aware of this problem by now...
  • Remember, it's my most used words
  • I am super cheap when it comes to clothes and food.
  • But when I shop for shoes and laundry soap I have to buy name brands.
  • Oh and name brand garbage bags.
  • Funny how I buy name brand laundry soap and never use it hahaha.
  • Some things you have to pay extra money for
  • I have bought and downloaded 87 games from bigfishgames.com
  • That's about 7 dollars a game
  • Oh My I just added it up!!!
  • That over 600 dollars in games since 2006!!
  • That's not counting subscriptions to Toontown, Wizard101 and Other games I have played in the past
  • I think I have a problem.
  • Wait......let's compare hubby's costs
  • Xbox 360 200$, games 50-60bucks a piece, and batteries for remotes....
  • I think it comes out even, don't you?
  • If we spent money like that on our yard, we would be more excited for the warm weather.
  • Just shows you where our priorities are :P

That's it for now.

WIMTSW

Go link up with Chief and play along

Hub has had his normal days off this week. It's been pretty nice, helpful, yet uneventful. (I babysit another one year old so we don't go too many places on his days off...and his days off are on weekdays.) I'm done babysitting for the month so, I mention to him that there is a new class at my gym that I'm going to and he should come. He has been talking about wanting to do a crossfit thing anyway..and this class is called 'bootcamp' which is described as the same kind of activities as crossfit and P90xqrtdd or whatever it is called.
So I ask him, "Hey wanna go with me to the gym tomorrow for Bootcamp?"

He says, with a scrunched up face, " Ummmmm I don't knoowww? Doesn't that seem a little gay? I doubt any other guys are gonna be there." "They will all think I'm goofy."

I say, " Well I will ask my friend that goes. I'm sure there are guys there. It is bootcamp. I'm sure it is a great workout for guys and I would like you to work out with me."

WIMTS was:
"Quit being a pansy ass cry baby. Does it really matter if there are other guys there or not. It's a weekday..most people are working. Nobody is gonna stare at you and your dorky moves anyways. Nobody cares about what others are doing in the gym. They don't even care about the smell that is perspiring off their bodies...IT'S A GYM for pete's sake!!! Get off your high/lazy horse and come with me."
