Over the past few weeks I've been dinking around in the garage with this project. The dresser was one purchased 9 years ago for the baby room for Garrett. It has been with us for while and held up pretty good through the years. (Minus the one drawer missing and shelves that didn't stay put. The back falling apart and kids drawings covering it.)
I was searching doll houses this winter for the girls. But it seemed nothing was sturdy enough for the likes of them. The dollhouse I grew up was probably the best house ever made. It was strong, durable and built to last. I can't say that for the doll houses sold in stores today. Or this one. So I took matters into my own hand and worked with what I had. Which wasn't a lot. But sufficient enough to make my girlies super excited to have something for their barbies to live in!!
